             Scott Emerson

(musical composer for New Year's Eve In A Cellar (Awaiting The Future))
Scott Emerson was born in Louisville, Kentucky.  There he studied guitar pluckin' with the virtuosic Kevin Rees and composition / arranging / note-wrangling with jazz giant John LaBarbera.  He currently resides in Los Angeles where he works as a film and television composer, teacher, and author. He cofounded LA-based rock band Heart of Gold in 2006 and is quite sure that your life will never be complete until you've listened to their debut album "The Burning West" at least nine times.  He enjoys hiking, fishing, mathematics, and feeding the many ungrateful feral cats that live in his neighborhood.
